Finding Drops in a Plate

Suppose you have a large number of wells on the canvas, and you are interested only in a few particular wellss. Rock Maker allows you to highlight wells of interest on the basis of different search criteria, such as an ingredient, well number, or label.

To search for a plate:

1. Click the Find Drops button on the viewbar. The Find Drops button is the one that looks like a pair of binoculars.

2. Use the two filters on the left to filter the canvas to drops that include the selected scores or ingredients.

Selecting Wells Based on an Ingredient

Rock Maker makes it easy to highlight all the wells on the canvas that contain a particular ingredient.

To select wells based on an ingredient:

1. Point to the ingredient of interest in any well on the canvas.

2. Press Alt+click the ingredient.
