Upon launching the NT8 Control Software, you will be greeted by the main screen of the software called Task List View. Here is where most of your work will be done, such as designing an experiment, calibrating the reference plate and stations on the NT8 deck, as well as configuring the humidifier settings. If your NT8 is enabled for ROCK MAKERĀ® Integration (RMI), you can switch to the RMI view, using the RM Integration button located next to the Task List view button.
The Task List and ROCK MAKER Integration Buttons in the NT8 Control Software
When you first start the NT8 Control Software, the Task List view is open by default. This is where you create sitting drop, hanging drop, LCP, seeding, serial dilution, and/or plate copy experiments. For more information, go to the Task List View (The Main View) page.
Next to the Task List view button is the ROCK MAKER Integration view button. Click the RM Integration button to switch to RMI view, in which you can import and run an experiment as defined in ROCK MAKER. For more information, see the ROCK MAKER Integration topic.
Important: You must have ROCK MAKER 2.4 or later installed on your computer to enable the NT8 to connect with ROCK MAKER.
