Rock Imagers 182 and 54 have very similar chassis, although Rock Imager 182 is bigger as it has additional storage hotels along the back wall. The front view of the two imagers is the same. Both imagers also feature sorbothane mounts, which reduce vibration caused by moving parts, and Error Detection Sensors.

The power switch, covered by a metal guard, is used to turn the system on. Just open the guard and press the button to turn on Rock Imager.
There is an option to modify the storage hotel in the load port to hold both SBS and Linbro plates. The Load Port is the place where you add and remove plates from the imager.
A black knob is used to open and close the door. A latch feature helps to keep the door shut. Be sure to properly close the door when not adding or removing plates for optimal temperature control.
