Since schedules are defined in ROCK MAKER, to change the imaging schedule you need to use ROCK MAKER.
Click the Experiment tab set and change the imaging schedule in Imaging Schedule and Imaging Settings area.
Follow the instructions in Initiating an Unscheduled Imaging Session.
Go to the Imager menu, point to Image and select Drop, if you want to image the drop with the default imaging settings. If you want to select your own imaging settings, go to the Imager menu, point to Image and select Drop Using.
Please contact us by sending an email to support@formularix.com and we will send you a plate type definition file.
ROCK IMAGER can't, but ROCK MAKER can.
From ROCK MAKER, go to the Setup folder in the Explorer and select User. Add or change the email address and select Immediate or DailyDigest for the Notification Type.
Choose Users to be Notified if a Schedule is Complete
Go to the File menu and select Plate Type Editor.
Select your plate type from the plate type list.
If your plate has more than one drop location per well, select the number of the drop position from the Drop list.
Use the manual imaging Well Control to move the imager to the A1 drop location.
Click the button (outlined in green at the image below) to save the new drop position.
Drop Positions
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the A12, H12, and H1 drop positions.
Click Apply.
Check to make sure that ROCK IMAGER Processor (RIP) is running by looking at your status bar. If RIP is off, please start it.
If RIP was installed on your local computer, there should be a shortcut on your desktop. You can also locate the FORMULATRIX folder and look for a file named RockImagerProcessor.
If you are on a network, RIP may be installed on another computer. If you don't know which computer RIP is installed on, please contact your administrator or FORMULATRIX support.
Try clicking the Refresh Images button on the Toolbar in ROCK MAKER.
Check that the network shared by ROCK IMAGER and ROCK MAKER is operational and that all components are connected.
If none of the above actions fix the issue, contact support.
In ROCK IMAGER, Ctrl+S tells the imager to store the contents of the load port. To save the image you're seeing on your screen, go to the File menu and select Save Image.
First, check that the barcode label is facing away from you towards the imager on the short side of the plate opposite the A1 position. Second, check that no part of the barcode label is stuck to the bottom of the plate or wrapped around a corner of the plate.
Go to the Load Port menu and select Store Contents, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S.
