Manual License Activation

Manual license activation should be done when ROCK MAKER does not have Internet access to the FORMULATRIX server. Manual activation requires you to have a license activation file in .xml format, which can be obtained by sending a license request.

 

How to submit a license request:

If you have obtained a license activation file, jump to how to activate a manual license.

  1. Run ROCK MAKER.

  2. If your ROCK MAKER is brand new, a license violation message will pop up, click the Activate License button.

    If you already had a license and wish to renew it, on the Application Menu button, click Licensing.

  3. Click Request License on Manual Activation.

  4. A license request information has been copied to your computer’s clipboard. Paste this information into an email and send to licensing@formulatrix.com. The FORMULATRIX support will send you a license activation file.

    Note: You can send the email using a different computer that as Internet access.

  5. You will shortly receive a license file. Place it somewhere on the computer where ROCK MAKER runs, e.g., the Desktop.

    Note: If the license activation file is in a .ZIP format, you need to unpack it first in order to access the .xml file.

  6. Then, continue to activate a manual license.

     

How to activate a manual license:

 

  1. In the Licensing window, select Activate on Manual Activation.

  2. When the notification message appears, click Yes to continue or click No to cancel.

  3. ROCK MAKER will then ask for your license file. Browse to the license activation file that you received from FORMULATRIX support and click Open.

  4. Wait for a few moments while ROCK MAKER processes your request. A notification will appear once your license has been successfully activated.

  5. You can delete the license file you placed in step 1. It is no longer needed by the application.
