Ingredient Report

An ingredient report is a printed format—displaying the ingredients used in each well of a plate—of the Ingredient submenu in the Canvas menu. This feature is accessible from all submenus in the Canvas menu.

To generate an ingredient report:

1. Open an experiment.

2. Click Reports on the toolbar and select Ingredient .

3. In the Ingredient Report Options dialog box, select:

   • Select All Drop to include ingredients from all drops.

     OR

     Drop 1 to include ingredients from drop 1 only.

     Drop 2 to include ingredients from drop 2 only.

   • The number of ingredients you want to display for each well in the Max Ingredient to show field by entering a value.

   • Show Protein Name to display the protein name.

   • Show Drop Volumes to display the drop volume.

   • Show Well Volumes to display the well volume.

   • Show Column Name Heading to display the column heading.

   • Fit to Page to generate all wells in the plate as one page.

     OR

     To define the number of wells printed on each page, enter values in the Row and Column fields.

   • Long Ingredient Name in the Ingredient Name Preferences section to display the long ingredient name.

     OR

     Short Ingredient Name to display the short ingredient name.

   • The ingredient data (Concentration, pH, and/or pH Volumes) you want to include in each well in the Ingredient Data Options section.

   • The font from the Font dropdown and font style from the Font Style dropdown in the Advanced Font Settings section.

     The Font Sample field displays the font preview.

4. Click SAVE to generate and keep the ingredient report on your local drive.

   Note

   Use the PREVIEW button to see what the report will be like.
