Enabling or Disabling Import Focus Level for Individual Drops

ROCK MAKER allows you to import the focus level images from ROCK IMAGER for individual drops through the Drop menu once the administrators enable the focus level (Fl) feature from the Setup menu. Only the import focus level feature of the imaging setting(s) selected by the administrators in the Setup menu is available on the experiment page. For example, the administrators enable the Import Fl for only 3 out of 5 available imaging settings in the Setup menu. Thus, only the import focus level of the 3 imaging settings is available on the experiment page.

To enable or disable import focus levels for individual drops:

1. Open an imaged experiment.

2. Go to the Drop menu and click Focus on the top bar.

3. In the Focus Level panel, switch the Enable Import Focus Level toggle button on to enable or off to disable.

   Note

   Disabling import focus levels saves disk space and manages database size by limiting the focus level images imported to only those that interest you. You can change this preference at any time as your needs change.
