Important: Sequence Editor modification is primarily used during support troubleshooting sessions and is not part of general use.
Sequence Editor is a way to see all of the movements and valve actuations the TEMPEST will follow during a dispense or other action. This includes behaviour such as dispense, prime, recovery, and wash sequences.
Sequences can be customized/modified to fit unique needs. Users can:
To open the Sequence Editor, go to the Tools menu and select Sequence Editor. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+O on the keyboard.

The Sequence Editor consists of the following functionalities:
At the top of the panel, you can access the Add New Sequence, Open Sequence, Save Sequence , Run Sequence , and Stop Sequence buttons. You can also switch between Dispense Sequence, Prime, Wash, and Recovery from the Sequence Type field. This selection defines the sequence preview in the table.

In this table, you can move the sequence items using the drag-and-drop operation.

Valve Control Preview displays the microfluidic chip of the selected item.

Read the following button functions under the sequence item table:
Add Item — Click this button to add more items in the sequence item tables. See the available items in the image below.
Add Item Selections
Delete Item — Select a sequence item in the sequence item table, and click the Delete Item button to remove it.
Write State — Click this button to rewrite/change the value of the selected item based on the latest chip diaphragm or motor position modification.
Valve Control Panel provides visual representations of the microfluidic chip. There are 3 valves in the microfluidic chip: Fill, Purge, and Output. From this panel, you can manually open (green) and close (red) valves of the selected sequence item by clicking on the desired area.
The Motion Control Panel is where you can adjust the plate holder's positions along the X, Y, and Z axis.
