Plate Type Library

The Plate Type Library is where you can find various plate types used for your experiments. Several plate types come pre-loaded with the NT8 Control Software for your convenience. However, depending on the plate types you use, you can also add new plate definitions or modify the existing plate types. New plate types that you create and save are automatically added to this library. The Plate Type Library also manages all plates displayed in the Plate Selection window.

To open Plate Type Library, click the Tools menu, and select Plate Type Library.

Available Plate Types Search Box

The Available Plate Types search box allows you to easily find your desired plates that will be used in your experiments. To instantly search for any existing plates, type the correct plate name in the Available Plate Types search box. If you cannot find the searched plate, you might need to add a new plate type through the Plate Type Library. Read more about Adding and Editing Plate Types.
