Edit Filters

When you create a ROCK MAKER Search, you need to define what you want ROCK MAKER to look for, and where you want ROCK MAKER to look.

After you have run your search, you might want to refine your search even further by editing the filters through Edit Filters in the Instant Filters panel. Here, you can manage which area is to be included in the filtering process. The more specific your search — or the more Search Fields you define — the more precise your results will be.

The list below explains the description of each category found in Edit Filters.

Capture Result

Capture Result contains four categories: Date Imaged, Image Batch ID, Profile ID and Profile Name. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Date Imaged	The date when you imaged the plate.
Image Batch ID	ID of the xxx record.
Profile ID	ID of the xxx record.
Profile Name	The imaging settings of your imaging process.

Experiment Plate

Experiment Plate contains six categories: Barcode, Date Dispensed, ID, Name, Notes, and Number. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Barcode	The experiment barcode number (usually the last three digits of the barcode number are displayed).
Date Dispensed	The date when you dispensed your plate.
ID	The experiment ID number (usually the middle three digits of the barcode number are displayed).
Name	The experiment name.
Notes	The experiment notes.
Number	The experiment number (usually the first digit of the barcode number is displayed).

Experiment

Experiment contains eleven categories: Container, Date Prepared, ID, Incubation Temp., Name, Notebook Page Number, Notes, Owner, Project Name, Seeding, and Setup Temp. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Date Prepared	The date when you prepared the experiment.
ID	The experiment ID number.
Incubation Temp.	The incubation temperature.
Name	The experiment name.
Notebook Page Number	The note book page number.
Notes	The experiment notes.
Owner	The experiment owner.
Project Name	The project name.
Seeding	Whether or not the experiment includes seeds.
Setup Temp.	The setup temperature.

Protein Formulation Ingredient

Protein Formulation Ingredient contains six categories: Conc. mg/mL, Conc. mM, Lot, Molecular Weight, Name, and Type. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Conc. mg/mL	The protein formulation ingredient concentration (in mg/mL).
Conc. mM	The protein formulation ingredient concentration (in mM).
Lot	The protein formulation ingredient lot.
Molecular Weight	The protein formulation ingredient molecular weight.
Name	The protein formulation ingredient name.
Type	The protein formulation ingredient type.

Protein Formulation Standard Ingredient

Protein Formulation Standard Ingredient contains five categories: Concentration, Concentration Units, Long Name, pH, and Type. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Concentration	The protein formulation standard ingredient concentration.
Concentration Units	The protein formulation standard ingredient concentration units.
Long Name	The protein formulation standard ingredient long name.
pH	The protein formulation standard ingredient pH.
Type	The protein formulation standard ingredient type.

Protein Formulation

Protein Formulation contains eight categories: Class, Date Prepared, Extinction Coefficient, Name, Notebook Page Number, Notes, Protein Lot ID, Storage Temp, and Volume. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Class	The protein formulation class.
Date Prepared	The date when you prepared the protein formulation.
Extinction Coefficient	The protein formulation extinction coefficient.
Name	The protein formulation name.
Notebook Page Number	The notebook page number.
Notes	The protein formulation notes.
Protein Lot ID	The Protein Lot ID.
Storage Temp.	The storage temperature.
Volume	The protein formulation volume.

Region Annotation

Region Annotation contains three categories: Text, Type button, and Type Name. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Text	The region annotation text.
Type Icon	The region annotation type icon.
Type ID	ID of the xxx record.
Type Name	The region annotation type name.

Region

Region contains two categories: Name and Type Name. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Name	The region name.
Type Name	The region type name.

Seed

Seed contains six categories: Date Created, Drop, Name, Plate, Protein Name, and Well. It will appear when you have seed experiments in your ROCK MAKER database.

Search Field Sub-Category	Description
Date Created	The date the seed was created.
Drop	The source drop of the seed.
Name	The name of the seed.
Plate	The source plate of the seed.
Protein Name	The protein contained within the seed.
Well	The source well of the seed.

Used Screen

Used Screen contains one category: Name. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Name	The used screen name.

Well Drop Score

Well Drop Score contains five categories: Date Imaged, Group Name, Hot Key, Name, and Score Value. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Group Name	The well drop score group name.
Hot Key	The well drop score hot key.
Name	The well drop score name.
Score Info	The well drop score info.
Score Value	The well drop score value.

Well Drop

Well Drop contains three categories: Number, Protein Volume, and Well Volume. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation options from the Search Target list are selected.

Number	The well drop number.
Protein Volume	The well drop protein volume.
Well Volume	The well drop volume.

Well Ingredient

Well Ingredient contains ten categories: Concentration, Concentration Units, High pH Volume, Long Name, Low pH Volume, pH, Pre Mixed Concentration, Short Name, Type, and Volume. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, or Region Annotation optionsfrom the Search Target list are selected.

Concentration	The well ingredient concentration.
Concentration Units	The well ingredient concentration units.
High pH Volume	The well ingredient high pH volume.
Long Name	The well ingredient long name.
Low pH Volume	The well ingredient low pH volume.

Pre Mixed Concentration	The well ingredient pre-mixed concentration.
Short Name	The well ingredient short name.
Type	The well ingredient type.
Volume	The well ingredient volume.

Well

Well contains six categories: Column Number, Number, Row Letter, Volume, Water Volume, and Well name. It will appear when the Experiment, Protein Formulation, Experiment Plate, Well, Well Drop, Well Ingredient, and Region Annotation options in the Search Target list are selected.

Column Number	The well column number.
Number	The well number.
Row Letter	The well row letter.
Volume	The well volume.
Water Volume	The well water volume.
Well Name	The well name.
