General Options
General options are available from the Options menu in either Normal or Advanced mode (Tools > Options).
General Tab
There are two settings on the General tab. You can decide whether you want the FORMULATOR to start in advanced view mode, and whether or not you want the FORMULATOR to automatically prepare for shutdown.
- If you check the option to Start in advanced view mode, then every time the FORMULATOR software starts you will see the complete Advanced View interface, enabling you to add and edit plate definitions, sequence files, the stock list, and liquid class settings.
- If you check the option to Automatically prepare for shutdown, then the hardware will automatically run through safe shutdown procedures when you exit the software.
