Software Overview

The AUTO PROFILE menu allows you to create and run a profile, as well as set up advanced settings that you can save and re-use for future use. Tap AUTO PROFILE to display the AUTO PROFILE window and see more options from the menu. To find out more, see Creating a Profile.

The AUTO PROFILE Menu

In MANUAL PROFILE, you can create your own sequence based on the cycle count or cycle time (in minutes), without having to first create a profile. For more information, see Creating a Sequence in MANUAL PROFILE.

The CLEANING WIZARD menu provides you with an on screen tutorial to clean the µPULSE liquid tubing and filter chip. Tap the START button to start the cleaning process. For more information, see Cleaning Chips and Tubing.

The PROFILE HISTORY menu provides the history of all auto profiles that you have run. You can export a log file for each profile, which includes time. pressures, volumes, and sequences. See Downloading a Cycle History for more information.

The SYSTEM SETTINGS menu consists of five sections:

• DEVICE SETTINGS — Contains configurations related to the µPULSE instrument such as Device Id, Device Name, Organization name, and Date and Time Settings.

• DISPLAY SETTINGS — You can configure the font size in the DISPLAY SETTINGS tab.

• PRESSURE SETTINGS — Allows you to change default values for pumping parameters for all default settings used in AUTO PROFILE.

• THRESHOLD SETTINGS — Allows you to change default values for volume change threshold parameters for all default settings used in AUTO PROFILE

• CALIBRATION WIZARD — You can calibrate the volume sensor by tapping the CALIBRATION WIZARDtab.

• WIFI SETTINGS — You can connect to a WiFi network and monitor the µPULSE status remotely using your external device.

The SYSTEM SETTINGS Menu

In the INFO AND SUPPORT menu you can view information such as:

• Firmware Name — Shows the name of the µPULSE firmware. This information is used by support.

• Firmware Version — Shows the firmware version.

• Software Name — Shows the name of the software installed on the µPULSE instrument.

• Software Version — Shows the software version. This information is used by support.

• Host Name — Shows the host name.

• UPDATE — Tap the UPDATE button to update the µPULSE software if a new version is available.

• QR Code — Scan the QR Code from your smartphone or tablet to monitor the µPULSE from your device.

• IP Address — Type the IP address under the QR code into the address bar of your browser to monitor the concentration progress on your external device.

• Contact — Shows the FORMULATRIX contact information.
