Software Overview

The µPULSE - TFF System control software comprises six menus, a WIFI SETTINGS button , and a Shutdown button.

Menu/Button Description - What To Do
WIFI SETTINGS BUTTON

Tap the WIFI SETTINGS button to activate the WIFI connection and connect to a network. You can now monitor your µPULSE status remotely from an external device by following these steps.
SHUTDOWN BUTTON

Tap the SHUTDOWN BUTTON to shutdown the device. Please make sure that the tubes are removed before shutting down.

AUTO PROFILE

The AUTO PROFILE menu allows you to create and run a profile and set up advanced settings that you can save and reuse. You can set a SCHEDULE RUN to automate workflows by scheduling profiles to run at specific times. To find out more, see Setting Up Auto Profile.

MANUAL PROFILE

In MANUAL PROFILE, you can create your own profile sequence based on the number of pumps or cycle time (in minutes). See Setting Up Manual Profile to configure more features.

CLEANING WIZARD

The CLEANING WIZARD menu provides you with an on-screen tutorial to clean the µPULSE liquid path. See Cleaning and Storing Filtration Chip for more information.

LOGS

The LOGS menu provide you with two types of features:

  • PROFILE HISTORY — Stores error log files and complete protocol data whenever PULSE executes.

  • SYSTEM LOGS — Stores all device activities. You can open and export all logs from here.

SYSTEM SETTINGS

The SYSTEM SETTINGS menu consists of four sections:

  • DEVICE SETTINGS — Configures the µPULSE settings such as Device Name, Organization name, and Device Date and Time settings.

  • GENERAL SETTINGS — Configures the username and password for data collection.

  • CALIBRATION WIZARD — Checks and/or calibrates the volume sensor.

  • WIFI SETTINGS — Connects the device to a WiFi network and monitor the µPULSE status remotely using your external device.

INFO & SUPPORT

In the INFO AND SUPPORT menu you can view information such as:

  • Device Serial Number

  • Firmware Version

  • Software Version

  • Release Date — Shows the exact date of the µPULSE software release.

  • Host Name — Type the instruments’ hostname.

  • IP Address — Type the IP address into the address bar of your browser to monitor the concentration progress on your external device.

  • MAC Address — 12-digit hexadecimal number assigned to each device connected to the network. Primarily specified as a unique identifier during device manufacturing.

  • License Status — Shows the status of the license whether it is Activated or Not Activated.

  • License Type — Shows the current license, whether it is Temporary or Perpetual.

  • License Modified Date — Shows the date when the license was last modified.

  • Eligible for Updates Through — This specifies the timeframe and deadline for the instrument to renew the license.

  • Client ID — This ID will be shown based on the activated license.

  • UPDATE — Update the µPULSE software if a new version is available.

  • QR Code — Scan the QR Code from your smartphone or tablet to monitor the µPULSE from your device.

  • ACTIVATE — Tap the ACTIVATE button to activate the license.

  • Contact — Shows the FORMULATRIX contact information.
