Water Level Calibration
The NT8 hardware V4 is now equipped with an e-sensor in the water carboy. This way, you can monitor the water level status both in the carboy and humidifier chambers through the Status Bar. The sensor works by referencing the calibrated maximum and minimum values of the water level in the humidifier chamber and water carboy. These values will then be used by the sensor to determine when to refill the carboy or the humidifier chamber, and to indicate if one of them is already full.
Warning
The NT8 water level sensor is fully calibrated upon first installation. If you notice inaccurate sensor readings, please reach out to our FORMULATRIX support for help with recalibration.
To access the Water Level Calibration wizard, navigate to Tools > Calibrations > Water Level Calibration. You’ll find two tabs: Humidifier Chamber and Carboy.
Humidifier Chamber
The Humidifier Chamber tab provides settings to control the humidifier. Fill or drain the chamber as needed, and tune the maximum and minimum water level values within the chamber.
Humidifier Chamber Water Level Calibration
When you activate the Humidifier button, the system automatically maintains precise humidification. The Start Filling, Start Draining, and Set Value buttons are disabled.
