A profile is a set of experiment settings that can be used for concentrating a sample or performing buffer exchange. You can set up a profile from the AUTO PROFILE menu on the home screen. Learn more about Creating a Profile.
The priming process is the first step of concentrating your sample solution. The system will fill the filter chip with buffer to remove air bubbles formed during the concentration process.
The concentrating process will be performed after the priming process is done. The sample will be filtered using tangential flow filtration across the membrane in the filter chip.
This is an optional process if you want to perform buffer exchange or desalting with concentration. The reagent type can be the same or different as the carrier reagent.
The µPULSE instrument is compatible with all aqueous sample and buffer solutions. You can use the following reagents to clean µPULSE instrument, in order of preference:
Important: All cleaning solutions must be filtered through a 0.22 μm pore filter or similar.
