Manual Receiving

You can use manual receiving for tracking delivered goods quantity if you prefer that method over barcode receiving.

To begin manual receiving:

  1. Open the Transactions table.

  2. Click the Plus button at the top-left of the screen to create a new transactions.

  3. In the Create New Transactions window, type or select the appropriate information for the following fields:

    • Sequence ID — Ignore this field.

    • Date — Select the date that the transaction will be created.

    • Issuance Type — Select Shipment In from the Issuance Type list.

    • Adjustment Type — Select the correct adjustment type option for the corresponding goods.

    • Status — Select Open if goods are still being processed.

    • Revision — Define how many times the revision has been made.

    • Warehouse — Select the correct warehouse where goods will be stored.

    • Employee — Select the person who creates the transaction.

    • Warehouse Currency — Type the currency used where the warehouse is located.

    • Currency Rate — Define the currency exchange rate, which is updated daily by the Accounting team.

    • Work Order.

      • Work Order Id — Type the correct WO ID in the corresponding box.

      • Work Order Status — Set the WO status to Open to Buy for items to be listed as Issued In.

      • Work Order Date — Type the date the WO is created.

      • For Production — Select this check box if the WO is used for production.

      • Target Warehouse — Type the target location to receive the goods/parts.

      • Item ID — Type the goods or parts ID number.

      • Item Description — Type the item’s description.

      • UoM — Determines the Unit of Measurement. This field will be automatically updated once the Item ID is entered.

      • Quantity — Type the quantity of the goods/parts.

      • Target Currency — Type the target currency where the goods/parts are being delivered.

    • Purchase Order.

      • Purchase Order ID — Type the correct PO ID in the corresponding box.

      • Purchase Order Status — Type the status of the PO.

      • Purchase Order Date — Type the date the PO is created.

    • Shipment.

      • Tracking Number — Select the goods tracking number that will be sent.

      • Shipping Status — Specify the shipping status.

      • Shipping Date — Select the shipment date for the requested goods.

    • Stock Opname — Type the specific stock opname type in the corresponding box.

    • Notes — Type here to add more information about the transaction.

    • Email (Issued Out only) — Select this check box if the Issuance Type is set to Issued Out.

    • Notify Storage Report — Select this box to be notified via email in which warehouse(s) the goods are stored. This will help you later to create transactions in TIGA for these goods, especially if they are stored in more than one warehouse.

  4. Click Create in the lower-right corner of the Create New Transactions window.

At this point, Transaction and Transaction Line items (TALI) automatically created. The TALI status is still Unconfirmed.
