What’s New in TIGA 7.12?

Support

  • Added Closed - Expired status for Service Estimate (SE) quote with the following conditions:

    • If Quote Date and Quote Validity Period is before today.

    • The status is PO Received or Empty.

  • Set the sequence for SIM (Support Invoice Monthly) quotes to follow SE quotes in the Quote Number column.

  • Updated the Not Covered By Maintenance drop-down to Time and Materials (T&M) in the Coverage table and related workflows.

  • Added office averages and the following data to the FSE Time Utilization Report:

    • Average customer visit per week.

    • Average travel time visit.

Bonded Zone

  • Add shipment schedule that sends notification email for the following shipment documents:

    • IN Type shipment documents to PSL and PRO warehouse not linked to shipment within a week from the delivery date.

    • BC 2.7 Type IN, BC 2.3, BC 2.6.2, and BC 4.0 not linked to Shipment In or Shipment Req In in three to seven days after their creation.

Bug Fixes

Quote Generation

  • Cleaned up the inconsistency format for product price by default setting the currency as USD in the Base Price field. A warning message will appear if you set the currency to others unless the amount is left empty.

Support

  • Allowed multiple line items with the same part #. See also, Requesting Parts.

  • Converted the Map URL field into a URL link.

  • Added new logic to notification email. TIGA will send email notifications if the following conditions are fulfilled:

    • The case is linked to an account visit or a part replacement.

    • The case priority is not Low.

  • Added Cancel Borrowed action button to the Borrowed Parts table to cancel the borrowed parts that have been approved. The CAQ will be returned to the borrowed WO upon cancellation.

  • Allowed partial approval of the requested Borrowed Parts. The CAQ for the Borrowed WO will increase based on the approved Quantity.

  • Updated return status to Returned after all parts are returned.

Bonded Zone

  • Added validation when you Create, Edit, or Clone Item in the CRM and Bonded Zone application. The Cost currency and amount should be both defined or emptied; otherwise, an error message will be displayed.

  • Enhanced the logic to search for WO Lender. Automatically find the WO Lender if you leave the field empty. An error message will appear if your requested part is not available.

  • The system will update the Notify Party based on the company’s address linked to the country in the To field of the respective shipment record.

  • Send a reminder to the approver every five days from when the record status changes to Submitted for Approval until it is approved.

  • Increased the STC (Shipping and Travel Costs) column precision up to 8 digits to accommodate large values.

Sales and Marketing

Quotes

  • Added Reinstatement and Remote Inspection values to the total calculation in the approval email for a submitted Quote or a request to extend an expired Quote.

Support

Sales Order

  • Added new validation to the Sales Orders table. You have to complete The Special Instructions and Notes field or write N/A. Otherwise, TIGA will throw an Error message.

Time Tracking

  • When approving multiple timesheets, TIGA will arrange the records alphabetically and chronologically to make the approving easier. For more information, read Approving Weekly Time Entries.

  • The Comment box in the Submitted Timesheets window now includes the Product and Account details linked with each case entry.

  • Removed unnecessary punctuation in the comment box when a product was not present.

Item Inventories

  • The Item ID field in the Item Inventories table is not editable anymore.

  • Added Part Name and Part Number to the Mold Design Revision History report and the following email notification:

Security

  • Fixed the wrong validation issue when you, as a member of Support Manager, updated or created Quote - Sale Terms / Checklist that Quote Type is Service Estimate.

  • Fixed duplicate attachment issue in the Email and TIGA for the following situations:

    • The email attachment was duplicated when you submitted or resubmitted a Quote for approval.

    • TIGA attachment was duplicated when an expired Quote was rejected and resubmitted to extend the expiration date.

  • Added a warning message to prevent the partially opened Quick View / Clone View while cloning.

  • Fixed an issue where the Country field in the item request generated through custom action in Quotes was not being assigned. The Country field comes from the account linked to the customer contact.

  • Fixed an error thrown when you wanted to change the WO from Closed to Open to Buy.

  • Fixed an issue caused by a subview that did not display the Origin Detail and Origin Referral in the detail view.

  • Resolved the Generate Bin report issue. TIGA can now accommodate items that had never been stocked in the Warehouse and mark them as Never Stocked in the report.

What's New in TIGA 7.6?

Quotes

  • You can add and distribute a discount to all maintenance line items in SOLI included in the Quote by using the Discount in Percent and Discount in Nominal options in the Configure Shipping and Discount section of the Quote wizard. Learn more about the Quote Wizard.

  • You can specify S&TC and Price as decimal values when configuring Custom Maintenance or Products.

  • The S&TC field of the Maintenance window now accepts decimal values.

  • FSESVAD will not be added to the link case warning message while requesting an invoice if both Fixed and Hourly Rates Line Items are present.

  • Updated the shipping cost fetch logic to show the Estimated Shipping Quote if the Final Shipping Cost is not present in the invoice summary requested using CRM Data.

Bonded Zone

  • Added the Reject button to reject the submitted Quote in the Quotes notification email.

Time Tracking

Quotes

  • TIGA will not automatically create Service Estimate (SIM) Quotes if the following conditions occur:

    • There are no invoiceable case entries.

    • The Case Entries have 0 Time (Hours).

    • Case was opened before the Service Contract expired.

  • Automatic Service Estimate (SIM) Quotes are no longer being created for products that were covered by a service contract or were covered by a contract when the Case was opened.

  • TIGA will auto-select Customer Contacts for Service Estimate (SIM) Quotes based on available Contacts from the linked cases. If it’s not available, TIGA will use the highest priority contact from the corresponding Account.

  • The Date information in the Invoice Draft is now sorted in ascending order.

  • Maintenance Quotes can be approved by other managers just like Sales Quotes. This can help in cases where the main approver is unavailable and a quick response is needed.

  • For easier product identification, the Quote wizard will show items sorted by Product Category as default.

Time Tracking Application Updates

  • For better troubleshooting, we’ve improved the error message that appeared when the Activity or Product cell in the Timesheet was empty to be more descriptive.

    • Ability to change the Recipient Warehouse information, provided the recipient is under the same company.

  • The Service Documentation field is now available in the Hardware Versions window and table in the CRM and Production applications. Using this field, you can add a hyperlink to the corresponding service documentation record, for easier search.

  • The System Snapshot field is now available in the QA Tracking window, allowing you to add the existing System Snapshots folder link for each product.

  • The EOL (Override) information is now available in the Installed Products table, allowing you to identify the exact End of Life Date that will be overridden.

  • We’ve cleaned up the QA Tracking window by hiding some unused fields such as the Installed Date, DO NOT DELETE, and ID fields.

General Improvements

  • Currently, you can also change the WO status from the Work Orders main table using the State drop-down list.

    The State management and drop-down list will also be available in other tables soon. Stay tuned!

  • For easier troubleshooting, we’ve changed the error message that appeared when duplicating institute records with an existing name to be more descriptive.

  • Now, if the End of Life Date field value is not empty, TIGA will fetch the data from the EOL (Override) field. Otherwise, TIGA will take from HardwareVersions.EndOflifeDate values. This applies to the CRM and Production applications.

Bug Fixes and Other Changes

  • (General) We’ve fixed an issue where TIGA misread the currency value because of different browser languages used. TIGA will now use your local browser language to avoid the currency number formatting issue.

  • (General) We’ve fixed an issue where all commands under the Record menu in the View mode didn’t work as expected.

  • (Installed Products) Fixed the filter query issue in the Installed Products table by changing the unchecked EOL Notification Approved by Sales option value from Null to False.

  • (Invoice) We’ve fixed an issue that occurred when creating an invoice without the Estimated Tax value.

  • (Time Tracking) We’ve fixed an issue where Time Tracking didn’t automatically convert the inputted time sheet duration into the hh:mm format. Learn more about Time Tracking.

  • (Time Tracking) We’ve fixed an issue where Time Tracking displayed old comments from the previous records on a new Timesheet.

  • (Time Tracking) We’ve fixed an issuewhere the Timesheet window didn’t display the selected employee’s name who has already left the company. We’ve also added the Inactive information to the Time Tracking that applies to all inactive employees.

  • (Quotes) We’ve fixed a display issue where the external Quote PDF didn’t show the Quote header. Learn more about Quotes.

  • (Quotes) We’ve fixed issues where SIM notification emails didn’t include the Account Name information and had a typo.

  • (Quotes) We’ve fixed a display issue that occurred when opening a Quote PDF file on iPhone.

  • (E-store) We’ve fixed an email notification issue, where TIGA didn’t immediately proceed with the debit or credit card payment by the buyer. Learn more about E-store.

  • (E-store) Now, E-store records that have status Errors and have Number of Tries >= 100 will be deleted after a week in the database.

  • (E-store) For better troubleshooting, the E-store Went Wrong notification email will now be sent only if the Number of Tries has reached 100. In addition, the email body also has the updated logs.

  • (E-store) For a more streamlined integration process, the External E-store API can only update the Account Number in WooCommerce if the corresponding E-store contacts already exist in the WooCommerce database.

  • (QA Tracking) We’ve fixed internal errors that occurred when clicking links/items on the QA Tracking window.

  • (Cases) Fixed a display issue where the Tags labels weren’t properly aligned with the Next Site Visit and Pre-Install Email Sent options. This applies to the Cases window across all applications.

  • (Item Requests) We’ve fixed an issue where TIGA couldn’t receive parts via the Receive Parts command as expected.

  • (Shipment) We’ve fixed an issue where TIGA didn’t change the shipment flag to False after cloning Shipment records.
