What’s New in This Release?

ROCK MAKER Version 4.12 delivers the latest improvements, featuring our latest and greatest AI-based auto-scoring model: Sherlock 4. Sherlock 4 can distinguish protein from salt crystals and precipitate by detecting even the slightest level of fluorescence visible in the drop.

The latest Sherlock version—running via Rock Maker Scorer version 5.3—comes with ultraviolet light path support, enabling more reliable identification of positive and negative hits in ultraviolet images. This version also includes drop detection, which significantly improves crystal recall and overall accuracy. In addition, Sherlock 4 is retrained on a cleaner, more balanced dataset to significantly reduce false positives for visible images.

Additional Improvement

A UV Hits only checkbox has been added to the Filter tab in the experiment page Score panel, highlighting wells with positive ultraviolet (UV) hits when checked. The same checkbox is also available in the Hits Report Options dialog box, allowing the report to include only positive UV Hits.
