Working with Ingredient Types¶

Adding Ingredient Types¶
ROCK MAKER provides the following ingredient types: Buffer, Salt, Precipitant, Detergent, Additive, Water, Polymer, Organic (non-volatile), Organic (volatile), and Complex ingredient. However, you can add ingredient types as needed.
To add an ingredient type:
Go to the Setup menu and select the Ingredients submenu. Then, click the Ingredient Type button on the top bar.

Click the Add button

A new row with a default name will be added. Click the Edit button
to customize the name.
Click the check button to confirm.
Check Button
If everything is set, click SAVE.
Editing Ingredient Type Names¶
To edit an ingredient type name:
Go to the Setup menu and select the Ingredients submenu. Then, click the Ingredient Type button on the top bar.
In the Ingredient Type dialog box, click the Edit button
of an ingredient type and input a new name.

Click the check button to confirm.
Check Button
Click SAVE to apply changes.
Deleting Ingredient Types¶
Prerequisite:
The ingredients are not used in any experiments.
To delete an ingredient type:
Go to the Setup menu and select the Ingredients submenu. Then, click the Ingredient Type button on the top bar.
In the Ingredient Type dialog box, click the checkbox(es) next to the ingredient type(s) you want to delete.
Click the Delete button.
Deleting an Ingredient Type
Click SAVE to apply changes.
