Important
The minimum system requirements are recommended for up to 5 users running ROCK MAKER simultaneously.
*The RAM can vary according to the database size because the memory of ROCK MAKER version 4 can increase due to the size of the consumed ROCK MAKER database.
**If ROCK MAKER is integrated with an imager, e.g., ROCK IMAGERⓇ Crystallization Imager, the hard drive storage availability of either the shared or networked file must be at least 500 GB.
***You can use the SQL Server Express Edition for free. Using this edition will only support a limited database (10 GB), limited features, and a single registered user account.
****Our software applications rely on Microsoft SQL Server to store the data. Consult your IT group to determine the most suitable licenses for your system. Some of the more common setups we have seen are:
Using the SQL Server instance provided by your IT, which is accessible for use by our software. FORMULATRIX can help migrate our databases to an SQL Server instance of our customer’s choice.
Purchasing a “Core” license, which is the simplest of the licensing options.
