Returning a Plate

Prerequisites:

  • The plate is in the same condition as when it was borrowed.

  • The labware type, content, volume, and barcode align with the system’s records.

To return a plate:

Step 1: Loading a plate into the system

  1. Press the Pause button on the Incubator and then open the load port door.

  2. Load the plate into the load port.

  3. Once done, close the load port door and press the pause button to continue the automation. The Cellmatic Suite displays a confirmation message and updates the stage status to Waiting User Action.

Section 2: Resuming the maintenance process

  1. Open Cellmatic Suite > Cell Experiments > Experiments.

  2. In the Folder Tree column, select an active experiment active_exp that requires user action. The detail should appear in the right column.

  3. In the Active Labware table, hover over the Three Dots and select Go to next stage.

  4. On the Continue Stage window, select the stage. There are two options to resume the maintenance process:

    • Continue schedule from current stage: Select this option to resume the experiment from where you left off.

    • Select A Specific Stage: Select this option to choose a specific experiment stage. You can use it to skip a stage and proceed to the next one.

  5. Select OK to proceed.
