The Dislodger Parts Overview

The Cellmatic Dislodger is a device designed to efficiently detach adherent cells from culture plates. Compatible with the SBS plate standard, it uses controlled, rapid movements to release cells from the bottom of the plate. The device imitates the tapping motion researchers typically use manually.

During operation, each plate is agitated at a velocity of 450rpm with an acceleration of 1000rpm/s for 20-60 seconds, until the cells are visually detached. These parameters can be adjusted through Cellmatic Suite software (under Settings > Config > InstrumentShelf-2 > InstrumentShelf > Dislodger) to accommodate different cell types, ensuring effective detachment and maintaining cell viability.
