Creating or Editing New Transaction Line Items (TALI)

After new transactions in the receiving process created and the issuance type is set to Shipment In, the warehouse team can continue to create new TALI or edit the existing ones as needed. TALI are used to verify that all the transaction contents are correct.

There are two different ways to create or edit TALI, through the Transactions table and by importing a TALI record.


To create or edit TALI through the Transactions table:

  1. Open the Transactions table.

  2. Under the Main Table, select the desired transaction record.

  3. Under Related Tables on the right, find the Transaction Line Items table.

  4. Click the Record menu and click Add to create a new TALI. | OR Click the Pencil button next to an existing TALI record to open the Edit Transaction Line Items window.

  5. In the Edit Transaction Line Items window, edit the current information as needed.

  6. Click Update in the lower-right corner of the Edit Transaction Line Items window.


Importing a TALI record

To import a TALI record:

  1. Open the Transaction Line Items table on the right side of your screen, click the Table menu, then click Import.

  2. Click the Choose File button next to File to upload. The file name will automatically appear next to File Name.

  3. Then, please refer to the Importing Records tutorial and edit the related fields accordingly.

  4. Once you are finished, click Import.

At this point you can proceed to Receiving and Managing Goods Storage.
