Sales Orders Overview
A sales order in TIGA provides and tracks information about sales of goods or services requested by customers through the receipt of a Purchase Order (PO). In TIGA, you can automatically and manually create sales orders.
Automatic Sales Orders vs Manual Sales Orders
Automatic and manual sales orders are used by different teams to check and track the details of the sales they’ve made, including their delivery dates. The delivery schedule for each product is available on the wiki. In the delivery schedule, you can also see each customer’s PO number in the corresponding PO # column.

Automatic and Manual Sales Orders Process
In order to generate automatic sales orders, after receiving a PO from the customer, you must upload the PO to the Quotes table. TIGA will automatically generate sales orders for your selected quote. You can then check the generated sales order in the Sales Orders table.
For manual sales orders, after receiving a PO from the customer, you must create a sales order by using the Sales Orders table in TIGA CRM. See also Creating a Sales Order.
Important: The information in the sales order must match its related PO. Once the sales order is created, you must open it in TIGA and check to ensure that all of the information given in the sales order is correct. Once the sales order has been verified, an invoice based on the sales order can be created. See also Sales Order Line Items.
