Plate State Icons

The plate state icons, located on the Explorer, tell you at a glance the current status of your experiments and screens, as well as the individual plates of which they are made up.

Note

You can override the state of a plate that has been imaged and viewed by right-clicking and selecting Mark as Not Seen, or you click the Mark as not seen button image1 in the Home tab.

Experiment in Design Phase: An experiment icon with a pencil overlay indicates an experiment is in the design phase and has not yet been dispensed or imaged.

Experiment: Designed. If the text is bold, then the experiment contains images that have not yet been viewed. Normal text indicates the experiment has images that have been viewed.

Experiment with Crystal Hit: Experiment contains a score that indicates a crystal hit.

Experiment: Experiment’s plate has been dispensed.

Plate: A barcode has been printed for an experiment, which generates individual plate icons (and barcode numbers) in the Explorer.

Plate with Crystal Hit: A plate contains a score that indicates a crystal hit.

Plate: The plate has been dispensed.

Fragment Screen: A fragment screen.

Screen: A screen.

Screen Lot: A screen lot has been created for a screen, and a barcode has been generated for the plate.

Screen: The screen has been dispensed.

Seed: A seed has been created.

Plate: The plate is expired, which means it has already completed all of its imaging schedules.

Harvested Crystal: The experiment contains at least one harvested crystal.
